The next race in the Northern Runner/Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series is the Blakey Blitz on Sunday 20th March. Well done to everyone that finished the Glaisdale Rigg Fell Race, this was the latest round of the Northern Runner/Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series. The weather was kind for february, albeit a tad windy on the tops. The 2016 running of this popular race will take place on Saturday 27th February starting at 2pm. The route is about 9 miles long with 1500 feet of ascent mostly on open fell.
