Well done to everyone that finished the Glaisdale Rigg Fell Race, this was the latest round of the Northern Runner/Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series. The weather was kind for february, albeit a tad windy on the tops.

In the womens race, Nik Vogan – York Knavesmire claimed victory from Nicola Kent – Loftus and Whitby and Shelli Gordon – New Marske Harriers in third. Loftus and Whitby win the womens team.

In the mens race, Lewis Rodgers – Loftus and Whitby took the victory, from Harry Holmes – York Knavesmire and Simon Greenwell – Esk Valley Fell Club.

York Knavesmire packed the top 10 and eased to team victory.

Loftus and Whitby did a great job organising and thank you to the Arncliffe Arms for hosting, the soup was just the job. Click here to see the full results.
