Fox and Hounds Fell Race 2017

The first race in the Dave Parry Summer Fell Race Series 2017 is the Fox and Hounds on Wednesday 17th May 2017. This is the 30th Anniversary of the classic race and it is being organised by Loftus and Whitby AC. The route is about 8 miles long with 1400 feet of ascent and is mainly on singletrack moorland paths. Fell shoes or very grippy nimble trail shoes would be best for this event. Gisborough Moors Fell Race Results 2017

It was a lovely clear sunny day for the 40th running of this classic fell race. Gisborough Moors Fell Race route has changed a bit since it’s inception 40 years ago but, it still covers a distance of about 12 miles with 2600 feet of ascent.
