SCOTT Kinabalu Supertrac Running Shoes Review

Scott Running Shoes Review Experience from Real Runs with Scott Kinabalu Running Shoes — Tech: Scott e-Ride Rocker They are very light using a cushioning material called Aero Foam but, the real key innovation in my opinion is e-Ride. Essentially the shoes are slightly curved to create a rocker. This reduces heel strike getting the runner onto their forefoot quicker. It improves posture by increasing the cadence and reducing the tendency to lean forward at the waist, which is the biggest error most runners make in their posture. The result is... Read More

Fell Running Shoes for Wide Feet | Altra | Inov-8 | Scott

Wide Shoes for Fell Running Nearly all fell shoes are narrow.. good start, I know! This is because when you are contouring round a hill or running on very broken ground you don’t want the shoe to move around on your foot. This theory is fine if you have narrow feet but, if you have broad feet then it is a struggle to find fell shoes that are wide enough. Your shoes should never be tight. Whether they are your running shoes or your everyday shoes (the possible exception is... Read More

Ossy Oiks Fell Race Results 2017

The In the second summer series event of the Dave Parry/Northern Runner Fell Series 2017, the weather did not disappoint with a mild,sunny-ish albeit breezy evening and Bryan Miller (Thirsk and Sowerby) and his team were rewarded with 114 runners, with plenty of new faces.Ultimately the result turned on the final 800m, in a race characterised by the any choice return from the radiomast. Running the Guernsey Ultra

Running the Guernsey Ultra (21st May 2017) I have never been to Guernsey, so my wife and I decided to go on holiday with me running in the race, what a great excuse! Guernsey for those who don’t know is the second largest of the Channel Islands (the largest being Jersey) situated just off the Normandy coast of France.  It’s basically 36 miles all around its coastal paths, so this Ultra is once around the island more or less 36 miles. Getting to Guernsey from here up north, isn’t that easy. ... Read More
