Derwent Reservoir Trail Races 2018

Have you signed up to run around Derwent Reservoir, the second largest reservoir in the region after Kielder? There’s still time! In 2017, Run Peterlee hosted the inaugural 7 mile trail race around the beautiful Derwent Reservoir. It was a great success and so on May 20, 2018, we’ll be doing it all over again. The next race in the Dave Parry Winter Fell Race Series is the Blakey Blitz on Sunday 18th March 2018 organised by Esk Valley Fell Club. Registration is at the Lion Inn, Blackey Ridge, Nr Castleton, Kirbymoorside YO62 7LQ (Grid Ref NZ 678998 ). Entry is £5 on the day only and the race starts at 10.30am. The next race in the Dave Parry Winter Fell Race Series is a new event to the race calendar. Organised by Scarborough AC this race will take place on Sunday 25th February 11am start. The route is just under 7 miles long with 845 feet of ascent. Which makes it a C category fell race as there isn’t too much up and down.
