Saltergate/Levisham Fell Race 2015

The organisers baton for the Northern Runner Esk Valley Winter Fell race Series now gets passed from Bob Lillie and his team who did a great job organising Gisborough Moors to Kim England and the team at Pickering AC for the Levisham Saltergate. Gisborough Moors Fell Race Results 2015. A bright sunny day greated the runners for the 38th running of this classic fell race. Phil Sanderson, who won the race back in 2011, set off with his usual quick start and lead from gun to tape. Despite the best efforts of Northumberland Fell Runners John Malley and Charlie Stead and Loftus AC’s Paul Butler to close the gap. Mourne Mountain Marathon 2015

Over the weekend of the weekend 19th and 20 th September over one hundred teams took up the challenge of the Mourne Mountain Marathon. The Mourne 2 Day as it has become known is now in it’s 36th year and was this year sponsored by local companies Consarc Design Group and Jackson Sports.
