The Sky Running World Ultra Series kicks off this weekend with the Transvulcania on La Palma. This is 83 km of racing with over 4,000 metres of ascent. Click here to see last years race videos where Brit Andy Symonds comes through to grab second place. Symonds isn’t running this year due to injury, neither is last years winner Dakota Jones. In the women’s event last years winner Anna Frost is also out with injury so whatever happens this year there will be new people on the top of the podium. You can watch the action live on the web cams on www.transvulcania.com.
