Transvulcania, the first race in the Sky Running Ultra Series, was won by Emelie Forsberg who was a whisker away from the women’s course record despite having only skied all winter. The men’s race was won by Kilian Jornet in a course record again just coming off a mountaineering ski season. So, maybe we should all be skiing during our winter training ?
