Simonside Cairns Fell Race 2014

This years Simonside Fell Race is on Sunday 14th December starting at 11am from the centre of Rothbury, Northumberland. Registration is in the Newcastle House Hotel and entry is £5. The run itself is 17.7 km long with 540 metres of ascent. The route has most of it’s climbing at the start and a lovely long runable descent at the end. It will be muddy in places so fell shoes will be best although you could get round in a pair of trail shoes as some sections are hard packed trails or surfaced.
