Glaisdale Rigg Fell Race

The next race in the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series is Glaisdale Rigg on Sunday 8th March 10.30am. The course is 13.7 km long with 562 metres of ascent. Registration is at the Arnecliffe Arms, Glaisdale, Castleton, Whitby, North Yorkshire. Entry is £6 and on the day only. The course has some good bridleways and bits of tarmac but, the single track over the moor and through the woods plus the final descent are always muddy. So, fell shoes or similar grippy shoes would be best. Refreshments are available from the Arncliffe Arms after the event. A map of the route can be found by clicking here.
