North East Running Race Results & News Gisborough Moors Fell Race 2013 By northernrunner / April 15th, 2013 / There are currently 0 comments The final race in the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series 2012/13 is the North Yorkshire Moors classic Gisborough Moors Race. The Moors race has been going for over 30 years and this year has support from Salomon and Northern Runner. The event starts at the Rugby Club in Guisborough and climbs up through the forestry onto the moor heading for the first peak of the route, Captain Cooks Monument. The route then drops into Gribdale Car Park, which is a good spectator spot and where the drink station will be. This is also about half way time wise. The route then goes over Roseberry Topping and Little Roseberry before heading back to the forestry above Guisborough and over High Cliff Nab. Then it’s all downhill back to the Rugby Club. 12.5 miles with about 2500 feet of ascent. To see the map of the route click here. The race starts at 11am on Sunday 21st April 2013. Registration in on the day only at Guisborough Rugby Club. See you there ! Comments are closed here.
