Clay Bank West Fell Race 2012

The next race in the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series is on Sunday 18th November. Clay Bank West starts at 10.30am from the Car Park at the top of Clay Bank just south of Great Broughton, near Stoksley, North Yorkshire. The race is 5.5 miles long with 900 feet of ascent. The route can be viewed by clicking here. Last year it was this race that marked the break through of local youngster Cameron Taylor (Esk Valley) who won the 2011 edition of this race and went on to win the Winter Series setting several course records and winning a few close races too. After winning the last race in the current series, Guisborough 3 Tops, Cameron will be hoping to repeat his win of 2011.

Entries are on the day only from the Car Park at Clay Bank. The race starts at 10.30am. Get there early as the descent is worth a reccy.
