The latest round of the Northern Runner/Esk valley Summer Fell race Series was a full on clag down night ! Conditions were clear at 5.30pm by 6.15pm visibility was down to less than 40 metres.

Great effort from the 75 who signed on the line. Thank you for your honesty those who missed checkpoints.

On the night it was victory for Kay Neesam of New Marske Harriers in the ladies race, and supported by Shelli Gordon and Kath Aspin eased to team victory.

In the mens race Paul Williams of Esk Valley Fell Club was the Victor, plus combined with Martin Perry, Stephen Pugh and Peter Riley the Eskers claimed the team prize.

Thanks to York Acorn for stepping up to organise the event.
