As many of our customers will know Drew Graham, who was a Gosforth Harrier, had a serious accident on 21st September. Drew worked at Northern Runner during his holidays from studying in the USA where he now lives. Gosforth Harriers are running a Coast to Coast relay to raise money to help Drew pay his medical bills during his long road to recovery.

The Gosforth Harriers coast to coast relay team would be delighted to be joined along the way from Whitehaven to Tynemouth and in particular at the end of their epic journey. The team hope to arrive in Tynemouth on Saturday evening some time after 6pm.

If you would like to join the runners on the last mile please meet the team at the Union quay car park in North Shields.

If you have time to do some fund raising in Tynemouth beforehand then meet at the clock tower on Front Street- we’ll do some bucket rattling and then jog down to North shields.
