The New Balance 880v15 D width (wide for women) is a great all round neutral shoe for those needing a wider fit. The D width ensures that both the mid-foot and forefoot sit comfortably in the shoe with a secure, rather than a sloppy feel. With its improved and pronounced rocker geometry, the 880v15 is versatile enough for easy runs and recovery runs, to sessions with more pace. It can handle mileage with ease, and with the improved Fresh Foam X technology, the midsole feels firmer than other highly cushioned road running shoes. If you are used to the softer cushioning offered in New Balance’s 1080 or More v5 shoes, then you may find the 880 firmer underfoot, however, this does not mean that any of the cushioning system is compromised.

The Fresh Foam X v15 D width has increased stack height to previous versions (40mm in the heel and 34mm in the forefoot), however, this midsole has a firmer feel to it allowing you to build into quicker paced runs more easily, encouraging a snappy heel kick sensation and delivering a quicker cadence. The 880 v15 therefore gives you a smoother more responsive run. Despite a slightly heavier shoe on paper, the difference is not translated to your foot. The initial softer landing, followed by the firmer foam construction at the forefoot ensures your feet move efficiently every stride. The 6mm drop from heel to forefoot feels stable, and the D width ensures a wide platform for your feet.

Equal consideration to the upper has been given, resulting in more generous padding around the heel cup. The gusseted tongue ensures the foot sits snugly in the shoe, whilst also guarding the foot against the grit and grime of the roads. An additional lace hole is available for those who prefer a butterfly lacing.  The engineered mesh upper feels soft and comfortable while retaining the even fit associated with New Balance running shoes.  The D Width shoe ensures the right fit for runners who need the more spacious shoe.

The DPD Next Day delivery postage option guarantees next working day delivery as long as the order is placed before midday Monday to Friday. We cannot dispatch orders on weekends so orders received after midday on a Friday would leave in Mondays post for delivery on Tuesday. There is also no guaranteed next day delivery on weekends so Next Day Delivery orders dispatched on a Friday may not be delivered until Monday. In most cases a 1st Class post order shipped on Friday will be delivered on a Saturday. The delivery must be signed for on receipt. Items shipped using this delivery method are easier to trace if they go missing in the post.

Returns

(Items bought as Christmas presents that where purchased online over 30 days before Christmas can be returned for an exchange up to the 31st January), provided they are returned unused and with the original tags intact.

You have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased through our website with or without reason, under the distance selling regulations for refund. If you are unhappy with your purchase items can be returned in an unused re-sellable condition for replacement or refund within 30 days.

We advise customers to try the shoes in the house for approximately one or two hours to make sure you are happy with the fit.  If you are not happy with the fit when trying the shoes indoors, please return them to us and we will either refund or exchange.  We are unable to accept returned shoes that have been worn outdoors, unless there is a manufacturing fault or defect with the shoe.

Faulty returns must be sent back for inspection before a refund will be issued. If the product is found to have a defect you will be offered a refund or exchange (if available). Refunds will ONLY be given for damaged goods where no replacement product can be supplied. Damage due to normal wear and tear, misuse, alteration to the product, or negligence is not covered under our returns policy and refund will not be given.

Returned goods must be adequately sealed in original packaging. On returning items the original packaging should also be returned undamaged and as received. This must be wrapped in an extra outer layer. Failure to do so could result in only a partial refund being issued.

SUSPECTED FAULTY SHOES SHOULD BE RETURNED CLEAN AND DRY. Shoes that come back to us in a state unfit for our staff to inspect will be kept at our premises until you can arrange for them to be picked up or until you have paid the postage to return the item to you. Please note this is a health and safety issue we take seriously.

Please ensure you ask for a certificate of posting as proof you have sent the package. You are responsible for the item until we receive it therefore we suggest you return the parcel using Royal Mail Recorded (Signed For) Delivery or similar. We will not refund the postage paid by the customer on unwanted returned items or sizing issues (so please contact us regarding sizing prior to ordering if you are unsure).

Goods purchased online cannot be returned to the shop.
