Inov8 MudTalon Wide Fit Mens Trail Running Shoes Black

Discover the wide-fit version of the men's Inov-8 Mudtalon, designed to conquer softer terrains with ease during trail and fell running. Featuring aggressive 8mm lugs, this shoe delivers exceptional traction, particularly on muddy surfaces, allowing you to master varied landscapes with confidence. At the core of the Mudtalon is the cutting-edge POWERFLOW PRO midsole foam, the lightest in Inov-8's range, providing a perfect balance of cushioning and responsiveness. The thicker midsole, compared to the MUDTALON SPEED, ensures increased comfort and durability while retaining vital ground sensitivity—ideal for handling unpredictable terrain.

The wide-fit Mudtalon excels on challenging surfaces thanks to its unique 8mm talon-like studs, which penetrate soft mud and offer stability on wet, slippery rocks and trails. Its anatomically designed fit hugs the natural contours of your foot, offering a seamless, supportive fit from heel to toe. Available in Precision Fit and Wide Fit, this shoe caters to different foot shapes and runner preferences, ensuring an experience tailored to your needs.

Built to withstand the toughest conditions, the Mudtalon features a ballistic nylon upper that resists damage from rough terrain and vegetation. Its MET-CRADLE design secures the heel with reinforced overlays connecting the midfoot to the heel, tightening as you lace up. A protective ROCK-PLATE underneath shields against sharp objects, further enhancing its ruggedness.

For runners seeking a wider option for soft, muddy trails, the Inov-8 Mudtalon wide fit stands out for its exceptional grip, responsive cushioning, and durable protection.

What's it got?

StickyGrip™ Outsole - The 8mm STICKYGRIP™ rubber studs provide incredible traction on soft mud, wet rocks, and harder trails. Beneath the foot, the flexible META-SHANK rock plate protects from sharp objects without sacrificing ground feel.

POWERFLOW PRO Midsole - With more cushioning than the MUDTALON SPEED, the Mudtalon offers superior comfort for long runs or races. The lightweight POWERFLOW PRO foam ensures high cushioning while maintaining essential ground sensitivity for technical terrain.

Ballistic Nylon Upper - The rugged ballistic nylon upper shields against wear and snagging, while the gusseted tongue keeps debris out. The toe guard offers added protection from trail hazards, and MET-CRADLE strips connect the midfoot and heel for a secure fit.

Boomerang Footbed - Boost your energy with the BOOMERANG footbed, which features foam beads that compress and spring back for a 40% energy return—perfect for long, endurance runs.

Choice of Fits - The Mudtalon adapts to your foot’s natural shape with an anatomical fit, available in Precision and Wide fits. Choose Precision Fit for a closer feel or Wide Fit for more room, especially during long-distance runs.
