The New Balance SC Elite v6 is a lightweight carbon-plated road racing shoe designed to deliver a responsive, cushioned ride over distances up to the marathon. Despite its low weight, it doesn’t feel stripped back or overly minimal. There is useful padding around the heel and tongue, while the pliable heel cup moulds comfortably around the foot when the shoes are laced up.

New Balance’s Infinion midsole foam combines supercritical EVA and TPEE to give the SC Elite v6 a lively, high-rebound feel without becoming overly soft or unstable. The foam holds its shape well underfoot, helping the shoe feel more stable than the previous version while still providing plenty of cushioning. Combined with the Energy Arc carbon plate, this gives the shoe a responsive feel that makes it easier to push off and maintain propulsion over longer distances.

The curved midsole helps keep the foot moving smoothly through the gait cycle, while the 40mm heel and 32mm forefoot stack provide plenty of protection for longer road races. Unlike some carbon-plated racing shoes that only feel effective when running very quickly in a straight line, the SC Elite v6 feels more forgiving and versatile. It is comfortable enough for warming up and cooling down, responsive enough for short intervals and effective during steady runs, threshold sessions and hills.

A translucent mesh upper gives the shoe a breathable, snug race-day fit, while the outsole provides reassuring traction when running quickly or descending. Overall, the SC Elite v6 combines the speed and propulsion expected from a carbon-plated racing shoe with a more stable, comfortable and runnable feel.

The DPD Next Day delivery postage option guarantees next working day delivery as long as the order is placed before midday Monday to Friday. We cannot dispatch orders on weekends so orders received after midday on a Friday would leave in Mondays post for delivery on Tuesday. There is also no guaranteed next day delivery on weekends so Next Day Delivery orders dispatched on a Friday may not be delivered until Monday. In most cases a 1st Class post order shipped on Friday will be delivered on a Saturday. The delivery must be signed for on receipt. Items shipped using this delivery method are easier to trace if they go missing in the post.

Returns

(Items bought as Christmas presents that where purchased online over 30 days before Christmas can be returned for an exchange up to the 31st January), provided they are returned unused and with the original tags intact.

You have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased through our website with or without reason, under the distance selling regulations for refund. If you are unhappy with your purchase items can be returned in an unused re-sellable condition for replacement or refund within 30 days.

We advise customers to try the shoes in the house for approximately one or two hours to make sure you are happy with the fit.  If you are not happy with the fit when trying the shoes indoors, please return them to us and we will either refund or exchange.  We are unable to accept returned shoes that have been worn outdoors, unless there is a manufacturing fault or defect with the shoe.

Faulty returns must be sent back for inspection before a refund will be issued. If the product is found to have a defect you will be offered a refund or exchange (if available). Refunds will ONLY be given for damaged goods where no replacement product can be supplied. Damage due to normal wear and tear, misuse, alteration to the product, or negligence is not covered under our returns policy and refund will not be given.

Returned goods must be adequately sealed in original packaging. On returning items the original packaging should also be returned undamaged and as received. This must be wrapped in an extra outer layer. Failure to do so could result in only a partial refund being issued.

SUSPECTED FAULTY SHOES SHOULD BE RETURNED CLEAN AND DRY. Shoes that come back to us in a state unfit for our staff to inspect will be kept at our premises until you can arrange for them to be picked up or until you have paid the postage to return the item to you. Please note this is a health and safety issue we take seriously.

Please ensure you ask for a certificate of posting as proof you have sent the package. You are responsible for the item until we receive it therefore we suggest you return the parcel using Royal Mail Recorded (Signed For) Delivery or similar. We will not refund the postage paid by the customer on unwanted returned items or sizing issues (so please contact us regarding sizing prior to ordering if you are unsure).

Goods purchased online cannot be returned to the shop.

We will not sell, trade or rent your details to any third parties.
