The VJ sport Speedhiker blends the characteristics of trail running and hiking footwear, to form a brilliant option for walking and speedhiking with a waterproof membrane, from a Finnish brand trusted for grip in difficult conditions. This shoe was designed to perform  in a variety of settings, from leisurely forest walks to more challenging, speedy excursions over rugged landscapes. Its design, featuring a sole equipped with a rock plate, ensures both stability and protection from sharp roots and rocks, enabling it to tackle long distances across technical terrains.

Constructed using the foot-shaped last and sole of the VJ Ultra 2, the Speedhiker incorporates the unparalleled traction, cushioning, responsiveness, and spacious toe box familiar to users of its predecessor. Like the VJ Sport Ultra 2, it also boasts 4mm lugs on the outsole for grip.

VJ Sport have reduced weight and increased ankle mobility with the lower heel/back, giving the feel of a trainer or running shoe, but with much more protection around the ankle. The Speedhiker's upper is crafted from durable ripstop material, sourced entirely from recycled content, and houses our proprietary PERFORMADRY waterproof membrane. This combination ensures feet remain dry and comfortable in all conditions.

Additionally, the shoe integrates the innovative Fitlock system, which enhances the shoe’s fit, ensuring it feels like an extension of your body. The system, which integrates with the lacing, secures the shoe snugly around the inside and the arch of the foot, offering protection against underfoot impacts while ensuring a snug, supportive fit.

Durable Ripstop upper & roomy toe box

The upper is made from 100% recycled Ripstop material, under the upper is our own dynamic PERFORMADRY waterproof membrane, which will keep your feet dry. The shoe's last is the same as in Ultra 2, which means your toes have room to move around

Rock plate & new sole pattern

Rock plate and redesigned sole pattern, offer more protection, stability and durability. The rock plate offers full underfoot protection and less energy leakage and also makes the shoe torsionally more rigid.

Fitlock ensures fit

Innovative system designed to improve the fit of the shoe, making it feel like part of your body. Integrated with the lacing, the Fitlock system tightens the shoe on the inside and under the arch of your foot.

The DPD Next Day delivery postage option guarantees next working day delivery as long as the order is placed before midday Monday to Friday. We cannot dispatch orders on weekends so orders received after midday on a Friday would leave in Mondays post for delivery on Tuesday. There is also no guaranteed next day delivery on weekends so Next Day Delivery orders dispatched on a Friday may not be delivered until Monday. In most cases a 1st Class post order shipped on Friday will be delivered on a Saturday. The delivery must be signed for on receipt. Items shipped using this delivery method are easier to trace if they go missing in the post.

Returns

(Items bought as Christmas presents that where purchased online over 30 days before Christmas can be returned for an exchange up to the 31st January), provided they are returned unused and with the original tags intact.

You have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased through our website with or without reason, under the distance selling regulations for refund. If you are unhappy with your purchase items can be returned in an unused re-sellable condition for replacement or refund within 30 days.

We advise customers to try the shoes in the house for approximately one or two hours to make sure you are happy with the fit.  If you are not happy with the fit when trying the shoes indoors, please return them to us and we will either refund or exchange.  We are unable to accept returned shoes that have been worn outdoors, unless there is a manufacturing fault or defect with the shoe.

Faulty returns must be sent back for inspection before a refund will be issued. If the product is found to have a defect you will be offered a refund or exchange (if available). Refunds will ONLY be given for damaged goods where no replacement product can be supplied. Damage due to normal wear and tear, misuse, alteration to the product, or negligence is not covered under our returns policy and refund will not be given.

Returned goods must be adequately sealed in original packaging. On returning items the original packaging should also be returned undamaged and as received. This must be wrapped in an extra outer layer. Failure to do so could result in only a partial refund being issued.

SUSPECTED FAULTY SHOES SHOULD BE RETURNED CLEAN AND DRY. Shoes that come back to us in a state unfit for our staff to inspect will be kept at our premises until you can arrange for them to be picked up or until you have paid the postage to return the item to you. Please note this is a health and safety issue we take seriously.

Please ensure you ask for a certificate of posting as proof you have sent the package. You are responsible for the item until we receive it therefore we suggest you return the parcel using Royal Mail Recorded (Signed For) Delivery or similar. We will not refund the postage paid by the customer on unwanted returned items or sizing issues (so please contact us regarding sizing prior to ordering if you are unsure).

Goods purchased online cannot be returned to the shop.
