Maybeck 3 Crosses Results and Report

Another red hot night at Maybeck for The Three Crosses. In the men’s event we had a first time winner in Paul Butler from Loftus and Whitby. Speaking to him at the event he said he had got a little lost last time out so he had made sure he knew this course particularly as it is on his club’s own doorstep. He had run with his club colleague Dan Middlemas until about half way and these two headed a fine Loftus & Whitby team victory.

In the women’s event Nicola Kent was not going to be out done by her male colleagues and came home just ahead of Caroline Warrington and Kay Neesam. In the women’s team event it was New Marske who held off a strong challenge from Scarborough. In the men’s V45 competition Rob Williamson continues to dominate with a strong challenge from Anthony Harnett.

Best wishes Dave
