Well done to everyone that finished the Glaisdale Rigg Fell Race, this was the latest round of the Northern Runner/Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series. The weather was kind for february, albeit a tad windy on the tops. This year Hamsterley Forest Marathon is on Saturday 2nd July 2016. So, if you fancy a picturesque run somewhere different then get your entry in. The 2016 running of this popular race will take place on Saturday 27th February starting at 2pm. The route is about 9 miles long with 1500 feet of ascent mostly on open fell. The race is organised by Loftus and Whitby AC and start/finishes at the Arncliffe Arms, Glaisdale, Near Castleton, Guisborough on the North Yorkshire Moors.
