Whorlton Chase 2014 Race Report and Results

It was a fabulous night for the Whorlton Chase which was the latest rounbd of the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Summer Fell Race Series. Warm and dry with a little give in the ground. Gateshead Trail 10km

The Gateshead Trail 10k is back for its second year and is set to be another great race! The GT10 is all about the essence of running, an event that puts the participants at its heart. Whorlton Run 2015

The next race in the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Summer Fell Race Series is the Whorlton Run on Wednesday 24th June at 7.15pm. Registration/start/finish is from the Black Horse Inn, Swainby, Nr Stoksley, North Yorkshire (grid ref: 476021). The route is 5.7 miles long with 1388 feet of ascent (9.3km, 427m). Ossy Oiks Fell Race Results 2015

The latest round of the Northern Runner/Esk Valley Summer Fell Race Series was another excellent night for running. At the top of the first climb it was Lewis Rodgers leading from Andy Blackett with Paul Butler and Paul Williams just behind then Paul Whittaker just behind them. In the women’s event it was Kay Neesam and Becky Penty ahead of Vicky Brocklebank then Nicola Kent. The field was then to string out as they tackled the middle section.
