The next race in the Northern Runner/Esk Valley Summer Fell Race Series is Maybeck 3 Crosses on Sunday 29th June. The race starts at 10.30am from Maybeck Car Park, Near Whitby, North Yorkshire, one mile past the caravan park which is at grid ref 895040. Entry is £6 on the day. The latest race in the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Summer Fell Race Series was the Whorlton Chase which a fabulous night! The sun we had ordered was shining making it the hottest day of the year and the pub said the beer sales were excellent! We raised £120.00 towards the playing field fund and new equipment is due to be fitted next week in the children’s play area. Tholthorpe 10km is on Sunday 7th September this year. For those not familiar with this lovely event. Tholthorpe is a small village near Easingwold in North Yorkshire. The route is all on quiet country roads and good enough for a PB but, nice enough to just enjoy your run. The village green where the race starts and finishes is complete with duck pond and village pub. Tholthorpe offers the perfect summers day out for the runner and their family.
