Angus Tait Memorial Hexhamshire Hobble Fell Race 2nd December 2012

The 19th running of the Hexhamshire Hobble will take place on Sunday 2nd December. Eskdale Eureka Fell Race Sunday 2nd December 2012

Race 5 in the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series is the Eskdale Eureka on Sunday 2nd December. The race is 14.6 km with 470 metres of ascent and is mainly narrow moorland path type running with a few short road and track sections. The race starts at 10.30am from the car park above the ‘Dibble’ near Castleton, North Yorkshire, grid reference 680078. Entry is £6 on the day only. Conditions are likely to be wet so please come prepared.

Baildon Boundary Way 2013

The 19th Baildon Boundary Way (a multi-terrain half marathon) that takes place on Sunday, 7 April 2013 will open online entries at 9:00am on Monday, 26 November 2012. This is a very popular event with only about 500 runners places so if you want to run mark Monday in your diary. The event can also be walked and there is no limit to walking entries.

Clay Bank West Fell Race 2012

A fine day with the frost just melting away in the sun but staying in the wood. Generally very heavy going making times slower. In the men’s event It was a head to head at the front with Cameron Taylor fighting to be ahead of Paul Butler. The other contenders were a little adrift as soon as they had completed the first short ascent through the wood. Clay Bank West Fell Race 2012

The next race in the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series is on Sunday 18th November. Clay Bank West starts at 10.30am from the Car Park at the top of Clay Bank just south of Great Broughton, near Stoksley, North Yorkshire. The race is 5.5 miles long with 900 feet of ascent.
