Old County Tops Fell Race Results 2011

The Old County Tops is a Fell race that starts in Langdale and goes over Helvelyn, Scafell Pike and Coniston Old Man. A distance of 37 miles with over 10,000 feet of ascent. In effect it is like the first day of an Elite Class Mountain Marathon, a good day out on the hill. Busy Weekend on the roads and trails

With Edinburgh Marathon and 1/2 Marathon on Sunday and the local Pier to Pier Run it is a busy weekend for North East runners. Edinburgh Marathon is busy taking entries for next year as it is full for the 2011 event but, if you fancy a run out you can still get an entry to the Pier to Pier on the morning of the run.
