Gisbourough Moors

The final race in the Northern Runner Winter Fell race Series is the classic Gisbourough Moors. This race takes in Captain Cooks Monument, Roseberry Topping and High Cliff Nab in it’s 12.5 mile circuit. The Race is on Sunday 5th April 11am start. Registration is in Guisborough Rugby Club. Great Course for Blakey Blitz

Race 10 in the Northern Runner Winter Fell Race Series is the Blakey Blitz which takes place on Sunday 22nd March 10.30am start from the Lion Inn (fantastic food !). So, if you want and exciting and challenging run out on Sunday with some good grub at the end come and have a go at the Blakey Blitz. Erika smashed Clart Record by 40 Seconds !

Race 9 of the Northern Runner Winter Fell race Series provided some exciting racing. Dave parry’s report is as follows: The sun (which was ordered beforehand) shone it’s fading wintery heat and a cool breeze meant it was cool in the shade but generally excellent running conditions except for the ‘Clart’ in the middle section which slowed everyone down.
