The next race in the Northern Runner Summer Fell Race Series is the a new race, the Maybeck 3 Crosses. The race is 7 miles long with 650 feet of Ascent and starts at 7.15 on Tuesday 30th June. For more details including a course map and description click the link
Charlotte Sanderson, now running for Thirsk and Sowerby, in her first run in the Northern Runner Summer Fell Series broke the record at the Whorlton Run.
Jim Bulman, North York Moors, was out to set a new record having been beaten into second in last years race. Unfortunatley despite an heroic solo run Jim missed the record by the width of a lamp post.
Pippa Whitehouse added another record to her name by smashing the Ossy Oiks Record. Conditions where good with dry ground and a temperature of 15 degrees.
Jim Bulman also continued his recent run of good form to break the mens record. Jim was locked in battle with Orienteer Duncan Archer till half way when Jim scented home and was away.
Race 4 in the Northern Runner Summer Fell Race Series is the Ossy Oiks. This starts from the Sheep Wash Near Osmotherley at 7.15 on Tuesday 2nd June. The race takes an interesting route to the heightest point on the North York Moors on Black Hambleton. So, if you fancy an adventurous Tuesday Night then pop along.

The next race in the Northern Runner Summer Fell Race Series is the Fox and Hounds. This takes place from the Fox and Hounds Pub in the lovely village of Ainthorpe near Danby on the North York Moors. The start time is 7.15pm registration and results in the pub.
