The latest round of the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series brought spring sunshine to the village of Glaisdale on the North Yorkshire Moors. Kay Neesam continued her good form to win the Women’s race. The New Marske veteran cover the 8.5 miles with 1750 feet of ascent in 71 minutes 24 seconds.

In the men’s race dry conditions relative to last year and good competition lead to Cameron Taylor of host club Esk Valley winning in a new course record of 58 minutes 32 seconds only 1 second in front of Stuart Carmicheal (City of Hull) who was the victor in the first race of the series at Saltergate back in October.
