Course Details

There is a steep descent shortly after the race begins which runners need to take care on. There is a slightly longer alternative route which will also be marked if you wish to take it.

The next section is largely on muddy tracks and fields until the climb up to CP2. Once reaching the short road section at CP3 competitors must keep left until CP4 and they are directed by the marshal to cross.

Please be careful on the narrow paths through the woods on your way to CP6 as you may encounter a few walkers.

You are not allowed to cut down before CP6 and must visit the CP which will be marshalled.

The finish is at the gate just before the road which is a few hundred metres from the registration.

Safety
Competitors should be prepared to carry ‘Best Practice Kit’ which comprises of Waterproof whole body cover, hat, gloves, map of the route, compass, whistle, emergency food.

Competitors will be advised at registration of the exact kit requirements.
