It was course records all round today at the latest round of the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Winter Fell Race Series. The course was still Clarty but, not under water as it has been previously so this aided Nicola Kent (Loftus and Whitby) and Cameron Taylor (Esk Valley) in breaking the course records.

18 year old Cameron Taylor took revenge on veteran Phil Sanderson (Northumberland Fell Runners) beating him by over 10 seconds, making up for his defeat by Phil in their last meeting at Clay Bank East where Phil won by less than a second. Phil Sanderson did have the consolation of leading the winning team home. Northumberland Fell Runners winning convincingly this time after equaling points with Esk Valley at Beacon Hill and then loosing on the count back.

Nicola Kent (Loftus and Whitby) was a convincing winner of the ladies race and lead Loftus and Whitby to the ladies team victory.

Full results will be ready shortly.
