Monday 3rd September will mark the start of the Dragon’s Back. This is an epic 5 day mountain running race across the mountains of wales. The event was held once previously in 1992 and was won by Martin Stone (now the organiser of the LAMM), and Helen Diamantides (now Whitaker). Helen Whitaker has teamed up with seven times OMM Elite Winner Steve Birkenshaw (an ex Northumberland Fell Runner) to defend her title. Click here for more information.
