The next race in the Northern Runner/Eskdale Valley Winter Fell Race Series is the challenging Blakey Blitz. The race starts and finishes from the Lion Inn up on Blackey Ridge near Danby and cover 9.5 miles with 2300 plus feet of ascent. For more details including a route map click here.

Jim Mann of Durham Fell Runners completed a Winter Bob Graham in 20 hours 39 minutes. A great achievement even on a dry summers day with more day light. Click through to his report.
