Record falls at Whorlton Run
Charlotte Sanderson, now running for Thirsk and Sowerby, in her first run in the Northern Runner Summer Fell Series broke the record at the Whorlton Run. Maybeck 3 Crosses
The next race in the Northern Runner Summer Fell Race Series is the a new race, the Maybeck 3 Crosses. The race is 7 miles long with 650 feet of Ascent and starts at 7.15 on Tuesday 30th June. Records tumble at Ossy Oiks
Pippa Whitehouse added another record to her name by smashing the Ossy Oiks Record. Conditions where good with dry ground and a temperature of 15 degrees. Jim Bulman also continued his recent run of good form to break the mens record. Jim was locked in battle with Orienteer Duncan Archer till half way when Jim scented home and was away.
