Fox and Hounds Chase Fell Race Pictures 2013

Thanks to John Taylor for pictures from the Fox and Hounds which was the first race in the Northern Runner/ Esk Valley Summer Fell Race. The nest race is the Carlton Challenge on Wednesday 15th May, 7.15pm start from Carlton Bank Top, Near Stoksley. It’s 5 miles long with a bit of up and down.

Fairfield Horseshoe Results 2013

Rob Hope (Pudsey and Bramley)made a return to form to win the first round of the English Fell Running Championships on Saturday at the Fairfield Horseshoe narrowly beating the 2011 British Champion Morgan Donnelly. Northern Runner now has stock of the La Sportiva Anakonda. This is La Sportiva’s replacement for the X-Country. The Anakonda has the same super sticky, heavily lugged outsole which is ideal for fell running. However, the fit, feel and upper of the shoe is much improved.
